Everything Change Up Now
A view of the South Carolina Sea Islands focuses on the barrier island residents of the Palmetto state from Georgetown to Daufuskie Island. Decendants of early settlers, both slave and planter, talk about their relationship to their homeland which is rapidly being gobbled up by developers.  Septima Clark (deceased) , a former voting rights teacher for Martin Luther King, Sheriff J. Ed McTeer of Beaufort and the King of the African village at Yemesee are among those interviewed in this stylized documentary which juxtapositions the lives of  those on the islands with their wealthy neighbors.  (48 minutes)
