Suffer The Children: An Essay On Abuse 
A review of the treatment of children that begins from ancient times. The film begins in an intake office for Child Protective services and follows a social worker on actual cases. It is child protective law in action and is ideal for training because the viewer must call on his or her own values to make a judgement. American Film Festival Red Ribbon winner. (28:30 minutes)

Appalachian Women: A Patchwork Quilt 
Explores progress of women  in the Western Carolinas through the contributions of individuals and women's organizations.  The video begins with modern native Americans, Cherokee Indians, and the ancestry of the Scotch- Irish.    Jane Hunter, a black woman from South Carolina, went to Columbus, Ohio, and founded the first professional organization for black women.  Former S.C. Rep. Carolyn Frederick (deceased) actually gets credit for putting the law on the books giving women the right to vote in South Carolina.  (25 minutes)
